Helping those with cancer meet their day to day needs. wcgcc.org/bbc
Working today to change tomorrow!
This year’s ride will have a distinctively religious aspect. The word “pilgrimage” is a journey that has a religious component or purpose. While I always prayed for those with cancer as I rode, this year I will be doing specific things to make this a pilgrimage focused on praying for those with cancer.
- I will go to mass or stop in at a church to spend time in prayer every day.
- I will not be using any type of radio or entertainment device while I ride to allow me to focus on the purpose of the ride.
- I will be posting each day about my reflections from the day. Not a diary of the ride and the places, but my personal experiences.
- Finally, my course through the United States this year will make a cross over the lower 48. The center of that cross is the geographic center of the lower 48 just north of Lebanon, KS. There is a small chapel there where I will return after completing each arm of the cross.
